Against The Current (ATC) Is a three person pop rock band formed in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2011. Originally the band consisted of Dan Gow, Will Ferri, Joe Simmons and Jeremy Rompala but that would later change. After being introduced to ATC by a mutual friend, Chrissy Costanza joined the band. Now, five years later in 2016 with breathtaking vocals from Chrissy, outstanding guitar skills from Dan, and ridiculously insane drums from Will the band has rose to fame.

The band started their journey by posting covers of popular songs on their youtube channel, which is how they initially gained their popularity. Currently the channel has over 1.5 million subscribers and 200 million views. As they started to get more attention they released their first EP titled “Infinity” independently in 2014. After the EP’s release ATC starting touring for almost the rest of the year. Later after touring they hit the studio to begin recording their second EP “Gravity” which would leave fans sitting on the edge of their seats as they waited for a release date to be announced. A few months later in early 2015 Gravity hit the shelves. Just weeks after the release, Against The Current signed to the record label Fueled By Ramen. The band then hit the road once again on the Glamour Kills Spring Break Tour and after the tour ended announced they would be releasing their debut full length album in 2016.

With tons of excitement from the recent announcement of the album, ATC packed up to go on their first headlining tour, the Gravity World Tour which would last three months and spread to multiple countries including North America, Asia, and Europe. In early 2016 the album title, “In Our Bones” was revealed as well as its release date, May 20th. With the nearing release of In Our Bones fans were crazy with excitement and impatience, so to say that the release was absolutely spectacular is a massive understatement. The album received amazing reviews and was said by Alternative Press to be complete “pop rock perfection.” While fans all across the globe were rocking out to 12 new songs the band announced that they would be going on yet another headlining world tour, the In Our Bones World Tour. Not only that, but they also announced that they would be on the 2016 music festival The Vans Warped Tour all summer long. As always, Warped Tour was a massive hit and gained huge success. Currently the trio are touring all over the world, living their dreams in the most perfect way possible.
